Rajasthan Rover – Rajput Splendour:The land of Kings and Queens Rajasthan is a spectacular place dotted with equally spectacular Forts and Palaces. There are forest reserves where wild life abounds and tigers still roam, it is the only desert with a hill-station above 5000 ft. Historical battles were fought here and chivalry was the code of honor. The royal influence is still prevalent in the descendants of the old royalty. Here you can live like a king in the palaces now converted into heritage hotels.
Music, dance and festivals are celebrated lavishly. The villages have a unique charm, the people believe in the age old tradition of welcoming their guests like Gods! Jaipur: is known as the ‘Pink City’ as the old part of Jaipur is still painted pink. It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1727 who brought in a Bengali architect and town planner - Vidhyadhar ro lay out the old city in an organized grid, Jaipur is famous for Amber Fort, the old capital of the State, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace.
Ranthambhore: is famous for its National Park and Project Tiger Reserve. The Ranthambhore fort stands in the middle of the forest, impregnable to the maruding Alauddin Khilji until a traitor opened the door. The park abounds in wild-life where the king of the forest, the tiger, can be sighted.
Ajmer: is famous for the dargah of Moinuddin Chisti where thousands of devotees and tourists throng everyday to seek his blessing and pray for the fulfillment of their wishes. The famous Mayo college, once the college for royalty is also in Ajmer.
Jodhpur: is known as the ‘Blue City’ as most of the brahmin houses are colored in blue. Jodhpur is famous for its awesome Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, museum and handicrafts.
Jaisalmer: is in the heart of the great Indian Desert famous for its ‘Golden Fort’ or the Jaisalmer fort, the only living fort where the descendants of the old families still reside. The sand-dunes of Jaisalmer are ideal for camel rides. "Dune bashing" in four-wheel drive vehicles or on ATVs is a recent addition.
Udaipur: is the ‘City of Lakes’ also known as the ‘Venice of the East’. The city is famous for its lakes, palaces, museums, paintings and temples. At a short distance are the famous Ranakpur Jain temples and the Kumbhalgarh Fort.The plain of Haldi Ghati where Maharana Pratap the legendary king of Udaipur, or Mewar as it was known then, fought his fiercest battle is also close by.

Day 1 - Jaipur

Fly to Jaipur. Check into your hotel. Half-day city tour of the historical Pink City. Visit Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and City Palace. Explore the famous bazaars of Jaipur. Jaipur is famous for precious and semi-precious stones and gems, silver, handicrafts, carpets and garments. Have dinner at Chokhi Dhani an open air ethnic place with Rajasthani cuisine.

Day 2 - Jaipur

After breakfast visit the splendid Amber Fort the old capital of Jaipur with guide. Take an elephant ride to the ramparts of the fort. Later catch up on shopping and city sightseeing.

Day 3 - Jaipur to Jodhpur (331 km)

After breakfast drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur - 331 km approx 6 hrs by road. Check in at your hotel.

Day 4 - Jodhpur

After breakfast visit the Mehrangarh Fort an architectural splendor and Jaswant Thada the Royal cenotaph with guide. Jodhpur is famous for curios, handicrafts & durries.

Day 5 - Drive to Jaisalmer 290 km (5 hours)

Lunch enroute at the charming Manvar Desert Resort. Check into your hotel in Jaisalmer. Visit the Havelis, a symphony in stone architecture.

Day 6 - Jaisalmer

Visit the famous Jaisalmer Fort and the Jain temples at Lodurva. Take a sunset camel safari in the sand dunes. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 7 - Udaipur

After early morning breakfast drive straight to Jodhpur Airport catch your flight to Udaipur. Check in at hotel. Udaipur is a city of lakes. Visit the famous historical sights of Udaipur city. Take a boat ride on lake Pichola.

Day 8 - Udaipur

After breakfast drive approx 100 km to visit the amazing Kumbalgarh Fort and the beautiful Jain temples of Ranakpur. The Kumbalgrah Fort has the second longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. The impressive Fort is built on the Aravalli hills with rising towers. Visit the exquisite Ranakpur temples carved in white marble with 1444 pillars, where no two pillars are alike. Return in the evening.
