Komarada located in Andhra Pradesh is a village and a Mandal. This is a village which is not only beautiful itself but it is surrounded by some wonderful little villages which give you a lovely view into the life of the Indian village. One of the main features of this mandal is the Jhanjavati project on the river Jhanjavati. This is a one of a kind project as it is the first rubber dam in India and the largest in Asia. Komarada is one of the villages that is actually accessible easily and should be visitedbty all to get a glimpse of a simple and happy life. Once here it is quite mandatory to visit some of the other villages in the viscinity. Thodumu is one of the most picturesque little places you will ever come across. This is one very remote place about 3 km from Komarada and it will fascinate you to see the simplicity and hard work of the people of the village and how modernity has not touched them at all. Chollapadam on the other hand is again one very beautiful village but it has the river Nagavali flowing through it. This makes it not only a sight to watch but the agricultural output is more and makes this a prosperous village. Sivini is another strange little village where half the people have the Adhikari surname owing to their very noble lineage. These are place that are so interesting that they are bound to captivate you. A place that is definitely battling with modernity, this is a place with lush green scenery, a bubbling river in the vicinity and a peek into the life in an Indian village that is bound ti sit up and take notice.
